Invited for a skype interview - kind of sounded like they were on the fence about my application rather than them selecting any top portion of applicants to interview for acceptances. Anyone else feel this way?

Invited to submit a supplemental application by Feb. 11. Invite means that the application has "received favorable initial review."

I got that same thank you email too and I didn't interview. I emailed the admissions department but never heard back. Does that mean I'm wait listed?

Invited to complete secondary application.

I submitted my application in the beginning of December. I visited the program in October and that's when the lady who handled the admissions stuff told me they weren't doing interviews this year. Then I got that email on Jan. 20 so I was confused. Wonder if that's their way of saying I'm waitlisted?

To the posters below, when did you apply? I haven't heard anything from them and I didn't even know they weren't doing interviews...feeling very out of the loop now.

"Recommended for Acceptance", which after follow up was defined as becoming an official grad student after confirming I received a Bachelor's degree and maintained a 3.0 this semester. They wanted my "intent to enter their program" by 2/9. I thought no one was allowed to make you make a decision until 4/15.. To the poster below, I never interviewed. I was confused as to why since their website said they do interview, but thank you for clarifying that they aren't this year!

Did anyone else get an email thanking them for an interview with WVU? I was told they aren't doing interviews this year so I'm slightly confused.
