Had an interview on Jan 31st (exactly a week ago) -- yes, I'm the poster about the interview below.

No interview. As expected..

Ain't this a thing. 0 interviews so far and rejects are piling up. Cheers!

Had a brief skype interview.

I thought I had a chance.

generic email: We regret to inform you that we will not be offering you admission to the Ph.D. program at the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering. We received over 2200 applications this year and were not able to admit all competitive applicants. The Graduate Admissions Committee evaluated the applications very carefully and had to make difficult decisions, denying admission to many excellent candidates because of the limited number of available slots Guess this isn't my year at all :|

Met one of the POIs mentioned by chance recently, and I think he has no idea that I had applied even though he is familiar with my work....Do they even really look at all the applications?!?

Systems. No interview. Expected.

FYI: They are sending out rejection slowly, and all the offers are already been sent out several day ago.

Same generic rejection email. Still expecting good news from other schools though!
