I applied in September and waited 7 months. Their admission office just does not work. And they are obviously negative to foreigners (same think is true also for other Canadian schools like Toronto). I had much better offers and going to one of the top economics departments in the world. I regret to spend lots of money for UBC application. | ||||

I thought I will get in as I already get in to couple of PhD programs. However, it seems that competition is tough for UBC. After all it is a highly sought after MA program. Being a international makes life harder. Best of luck for all the admits. | ||||
