Strong SOP, very strong letters, 2 years research, no publications

TTPB: take it easy! It's normal in engineering programs that some professors might send informal offers to students, since the decisions of professors weight out of the committee in these programs. At least we know the actual time that the decision will be out now, so don't lose hope!

ALL MOLECULAR ENGINEERING (PME) RESULTS POSTED ARE FAKE. I inquired and got this response from the grad program coordinator: "I can assure you, however, that the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering has not released any decisions yet; our admissions committee is still finalizing decisions. We hope to release decisions within the next week."

To the question below-- I'm not the original poster, but I heard they were aiming to wrap up interviews the 18th and make decisions "quickly" after that. No idea about specific dates though.

UChicago interviews all candidates being considered for admission. No Doodle Poll means no admit, unfortunately.

Does UChicago take in grad applicants without interviews? If I don't receive a Doodle Poll, does that mean I am not in the running?

One of the PI emailed saying that I am accepted and he is interested to take me in his group. Finally....I am so happy. Good luck to everyone!
