same message as previous poster--friendly email from admin about being on "very short wait list"

Received letter recommending me for admission. Beyond thrilled!

Nice email from POI letting me know that I'm on a "very short" waitlist, nothing about the actual number or my position.

Personalized email from DGS, super kind.

Had a skype interview first, contacted by POI

E-mail from POI for campus visit from 2/12 - 2/14. Got the sense that interviewees from all fields would be there but can't say for sure.

Email to check portal

official acceptance letter to come out next week, got a phone call from my POI!

Does anyone know if they Interview sociocultural applicants and extend campus invitations separately from bioanth and archaeology? Or do they do everything at the same time?

POI emailed to say that the department is meeting next week to discuss admissions and funding.

Email invitation to prospective student weekend indicated that admission was likely.

Re Brown acceptance: who did you get a call from and what's your subfield? Also, did you interview with them?

@the brown university poster below: Many congratulations!! Did you receive an email from the POI/department/Graduate school? Does it give any indication of how many students have been accepted this year? Also, what sub field? Sorry for the questions but were you also interviewed? Thanks in advance.

Response: Invitation to interview with a group on campus mid-Feb. Good luck!

First acceptance. Thrilled. Acceptance notifications: personalised email from Department and a more general email from the Graduate School.

To the interview poster below: Was this a formal interview and did you receive an invite to visit campus? Thanks!
