IITB DD, 9.14/10, 2 papers in top conferences, 1 journal submitted. Dream school, excited!!

Had a call with the advisor earlier this week and got the acceptance two days later.

Received a rejected for MS CS and confirmed reconsideration for MS CE last week. Got the admit with $6000 scholarship today!

Was encouraged by a prof, but I guess the rest of my profile wasn't up to the mark. Will come back with a master's, but disappointed now :(

So sad...

This is the rejection week....I got one per day until now

IIT undergrad, 8.6/10 GPA, currently writing a research paper (2nd author) with UIUC professor. Another tier-1 publication (3rd author) with a similar ranking school. Both professors encouraged me for a PhD but I applied for MS instead. Rejected from both schools. I should have applied for a direct PhD. Best of luck to everyone! Bye gradcafe.

Somewhat inappropriate the amount of time they kept us waiting. At least they offered application waivers.
