Welp, after writing below about being waitlisted at UMich, I put my phone down to have dinner and in those twenty minutes managed to miss a call from Robert Pinsky! Typical Monday, amiright. I called back, and he spent about 20 mins on the phone graciously offering details and info about the program at BU-- said the cohort would be 8 poets this year. I appreciated it so much! What a day!! 1a/0r/1w/5p

1A/3W/1IN/2R/7P i am the queen of waitlists at places i would've never imagined to get into

A little delayed because my transcripts did not go through at first, but I just got my official acceptance today!

Got a nice email from A. Van Jordan. I am keeping my fingers cross and head up. Congrats to everyone who got in! 0a/0r/1w/6p

a very kind form rejection. congrats to all who were accepted and waitlisted! [everybody hurts playing softly in background]

Was v. sad until I saw their note underneath "competition was quite keen..." They are either British or blowhards, but my guess is the latter.

Whew. Congrats to all those who got in! I'm starting to get discouraged but I know that whatever happens, I'll keep writing. I hope all of you do the same! 3r/0w/5p

Form letter rejection like the rest. Congrats y'all who were accepted!

Psshh, not even worried. 16,234a/0.34w/3r

Email saying it was very competitive, they had 980 applicants, please apply later. Polite enough, can't reasonably expect a personalized rejection with 980 applicants.

Aquí amdo on the waitlist boat a ver if they let me in. Congrats to the mfers that got in there 1a/1w/5p
