Applied to direct PhD in ECE. Received email with positive decision(no funding mentioned yet). No interviews taken before admit offered, lab told to reach after admits- Now in discussion with the prof for RA position in the lab. Interest Area: Image Processing. One friend also received admit on same day. All the best to all other applicants :)

Invited to the Virtual Event that was held on the 4th of February. Haven't heard back about the decision yet.

Accepted by program/Dept. with TA funding and tuition waiver. "We have recommended to the Graduate School that you be admitted to join the PhD program in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering". Have an interview with PI in the coming days.

Invited for ME Graduate Recruitment on 19 and 20. Interviewed with 3 faculty for RA.

Even I wrote to the admissions coordinator - She said that the Review Committee will continue reviewing applications and making offers through the beginning of April. However I'm really doubtful if they will send out any further admits.

TTPB: How come are you so sure that all the admits have been given out? I asked the grad administrator via mail and she said that the process is still ongoing, and to wait for few weeks till the portal is updated.

Update: it seems all of the admission letters have been sent out. For those who got the offer and won't come, could you please decline the offer asap? Thanks!

I'm the person who posted the previous comment; for some reason I'd searched for ECE and only one person had posted there - hence queried about funding. I haven't received the "offer letter" but an email that I have been recommended for admission. "Although we are unable to provide financial support for you at this time, many of our graduate students are able to secure teaching and research assistantships soon after arrival at Purdue." - can anyone advise what are the usual odds of gaining funding after joining?
