I haven't been notified either. Called the admission office last week who said they are still behind on the process specially foreign students which is slower, so there's still hope guys! anyone else for the MPP from Sweden?

Hi, Does anyone hear from Ryeson Master of Public Police and Administration these days?

I submitted it mid January as well. I'm absolutely sure we've been waitlisted. They take in 25 people, meaning they can't be looking into applications by batch. I've heard back from other schools too but I've got about two weeks till I have to get back to them and Ryerson's the one I want most. End of this week is way too short! I am really scared when I saw there still someone waiting for response in Aug 2016. Does anyone know what's the ideal GPA or other stats for this program? Or does anyone know somebody got admitted in the past?

same here,i'm a bit pissed. my application was completed by mid january (early deadline). still nothing and I have to reply to a program that offered admission by the end of this week

to the student who ask -> I'm from Québec and nothing here either! I haven't seen many students accepted or rejected for the program tbh. thought maybe because the average age from their students bios seem older so they don't post here?? I'm at a loss of answers really! I applied around the holidays time last year to make the early deadline, but was never notified about my application status not even rejection. I don't know how to check if they saw my portfolio, hadn't thought of this earlier. Oh I also called Ryerson admissions a few time to check but they seem busy and not interesting in helping out. Every other school I applied has already sent answers!!

MDM folks: did somebody else (other than the 2people who posted here) got accepted? Do you know if they have looked at your e-portfolio? I'm an international student with American undergrad degree, basic media production skills, high GPA, 1 year relevant work experience, BA in COM & Media Studies + Business MGMT, Applied by the early consideration deadline but still haven't heard anything :(( Yeates Admissions page says MDM is already closed for international students, and the portfolio web analytics show no visits from Canada, which makes me assume they either haven't looked at my application yet (and at this point won't at all if it's already closed) or have rejected me before even looking at the portfolio :( I have very little hope at this point, but I was wondering if anyone else is on the same boat with the MDM or has spoken to admissions. I really hope April 8th is the case for those who did not hear anything. To me that seems like a very short time frame to make a decision, especially for those who applied to other schools besides Ryerson. I hope after April 8th you guys hear something at least :(

And I'm just gonna give a wild guess here and say that they're gonna start rolling out the rest of the results after the April 8 deadline they gave those who were accepted on the 24th

So those of us who have been, I'm assuming, waitlisted, since we haven't heard either an acceptance or a rejection by now, is the silence our cue to move on with our lives because how lucky do you have to be get off the waitlist

Did yours say that 'for the academic year starting September 05, 2017, the program is committed to a funding package of $X, details of the package will be sent by the program department including the terms and conditions shortly'? I was very confused by this, I'm not sure how much funding we actually received.

It was on the second page of my official letter which I got last Wednesday. I had to open it on a computer to view the second page for some reason.

To the user who just posted, how did you find out how much funding you received? I received that 'funding package info will be sent by the program department shortly,' did yours say that too?

Canadian student, 7k funding.

I also called the university, they said they will begin with the offers by first week of June due to high number of international applicants.

For the individual who was accepted to MScM - congrats. Just wondering, when did you apply and did you get any offers of funding? Also, what field in the program do you plan on specializing? Again, congrats.

Applied a few days before January 20th deadline. Was told we would hear from the program by the end of this week and still I received no email. getting nervous. anyone else in the same boat?
