If you're still waiting like I am, I definitely recommend emailing and reaching out to ask! I hadn't heard anything back still which I thought was strange so I reached out and got the waitlist confirmation today. Good luck to everyone!

0a/1w/7r/4p, email to check portal. still looking to hear back from my top schools

Nothing on the portal. I reached out and was informed that the class has not been finalized but that I was not chosen. Why even tell me the class isn't finalized? That stings.

Email to check the admissions portal. I was waitlisted but only found out last week (3/27/24) after emailing the grad program manager, who told congratulated me but also informed me that I would be getting a rejection letter in couple days.

No email notification; decision letter posted in the grad admissions portal. 0a/2w/4r

No email, just checked portal.

I turned down my offer today! I hope a spot opens up for you!

Contacted the school directly. Mike was gracious enough to let me know that they did not move forward with my application. Just happy I got closure.

Please accept other offers if you have. This is my last chance!

Accepted off the waitlist. 3a/2w/2p/7r

Found out by checking portal. didn't receive any mail or email updates. I emailed last week & they told me to wait until my portal was updated.

No email or snail mail, so I called to check, and embarrassingly they had just updated online profiles this morning.

If you don't want to go to Ohio University, please reject your offer. This is my only chance now. Thanks!

All the best to students weighing offers from MFA programs—please try to choose as soon as you can so those of us waitlisted have a little bit of certainty in our lives !!! 0a/4w/13r/1p
