Bah.

No big loss. Wasn't one of my top choices.

Had interview last week and was told of acceptance. Formal to follow...

I just e-mailed Marjorie saying that I will be on different recruiting events at Northeast, and I woul like to know about the rummor of the next round selection on April 10th. She answered: "I am afraid you are not on our admissions list and we will not be able to make you an offer this year. We had a very strong applicant pool this year --- over 800 applicants for 18 slots --- and we have had to pass over literally hundreds of high-quality applicants. Please take one of your other options".

Wagner reply: Process sucks on this end, too. I have deadlines approaching for other schools so they better decide soon.

Response to NYU Wagner post below: I'm not quite sure what the office is doing and how it's handling the admissions process. It actually feels a bit disrespectful at this point. Other schools with a higher applicant growth have done a way better job with the process. i'm definitely taking a better look at my other options, including SIPA and syracuse.

Nice letter.

I asked The Dept secretary about the results of the application. The formal results will be announced next week.

To be more specific, I'm looking for any information on the International Education Masters program.

Has anybody heard from this program?

Also will send formal acceptance letter...

Please be aware that the applications for admission this year are particularly strong, and we have been unable to welcome all of our promising candidates for admission.
