I am very excited to have an acceptance in hand. Much earlier than I expected. 1a/1w/1r/12p

Ugh. 0a/0w/3r/5p.

They sent a "small envelope" (according to my mom lol) to my permanent address with a letter that I made the wait list!!! No mention of how long the wait list is. But yay I am taking this as a very good thing after being rejected from Michigan. 0a/1r/2w/8p

To the UH poster below, the notification should indeed be legit. I completed undergrad there and know someone there who got in then. Hope that helps!

lovely phone call from M. Evelina Galang!

To the person below asking about Michener waitlists, someone posted this on Draft this morning (he was accepted for fiction): "Talked to Billy over at the Michener today and they’re still finalizing waiting list stuff, although I’m pretty sure they’ve reached out to their first choice of applicants. Some might go to other programs though."

Got an email reminder about GTA materials. They'll send out acceptances by Mid-March.

I saw one person post about George Mason on February 8th but since then not a peep!! Has anyone else heard back?

Ugh. This one hurt. 0a/0w/2r/6p

I saw one person posted about Houston on February 1st. Is this legit? Has anyone else heard back?

I am pretty sure that most of us who are accepted are going to visit the school on March 6th so if somebody is not going to attend the school you probably won't hear before then. Hopefully that will help the anxiety.

Does "Under Graduate Review" always mean a rejection for the Creative Writing program? It seems that from past reports this is almost always the case. If anyone has more information let me know, thank you.

Similar email to previous poster regarding funding opps being limited. Will find out in next few weeks.

status changed to "Under Graduate School Review"

If you know you are not going to attend, please let them know. We folks on the wait list are dying here !!!!!!! Thank you

I'm guessing all the acceptances went out last week, but has anyone gotten waitlisted yet? (I'm not on the MFA Draft page, so if there's more info there, please pass along!)
