Generic email rejection

I had to inquire as well.

Accepted off the waitlist with funding!

Emailed them to inquire. Mentioned I have a fully funded offer elsewhere. They wrote back quickly to say I'm not on the list this year, adding that official decisions should come out by the end of the week. Bummed, but I'm still going to get an MFA! 2a/7r/0w/0p

Disappointed, but not surprised. At least I finally have all my results in. Good luck to everyone still waiting! (3a/0w/2r)

Question: has anyone else not yet heard from Montana [and know what that might mean]? I saw a number of people heard early last week about rejections!

Nope, nothing from Boston University. I guess we won't know by the end of April after all. I'm assuming I was rejected at this point.

Anyone know how long NYU's waitlist is for poetry or how many applicants got in off the waitlist last year?

I'm fine with the rejection (fully funded offer elsewhere), but why do they send a hard-copy letter? Is this application going to sit in my Submittable labeled "In Progress" indefinitely? Why not just send a polite message via email like any other Submittable rejection??

Rejected from the wait list. Oh well, not among my top choices anyway. Now 1a/9r/5w/1p

Was waitlisted, and the official rejection came through. 1a/2w/9r
