Email from Will Starr

Got an email and was waitlisted. Fingers Crossed!!

Got a short email rejecting me from the program.

For the post below, I think I have the same situation since I try to call them on the phone, but there is no one answer. If there is anything, it is just a mailbox mentioning that they will call later asap. However, it has been some days already, and I still have not received any response.

Received email with decision letter. Decision/offer letter included financial support statement

I can see people who are accepted and waitlisted this week (days later that I can find two people who are accepted). So clear sign that I am rejected—I am genuinely surprise since I met my POI early on and our chemistry was great and she even connected me to her current students. As info for future folks applicants, most current phd candidates there didn’t have interviews. But possibly some. They got straightforward email notifications.

astro. sad times but it's ok. good luck to yall
