Heard back on Fri 3/17. Does anyone know when UVA alerts waitlist students of their final status? Before April 15?

Academically wonderful, but school itself looks like a NYC public school. Not too bummed.

I got waitlisted for an interview! I have been in frequent contact with the department to ensure I am not missing anything. April 15th is when those waitlisted should know more. This is my number one so I am hoping for good news!

To the poster below: I interviewed at the end of February and still haven't heard. At the interview they told us we would hear in March, so hopefully we will hear this week!

Thanks! You guys rock. If my stats far surpass their "suggested" requirements, but I still haven't heard anything, should I still assume I am waitlisted or rejected? Just confused about the one persons post saying "if you haven't heard anything by now you're waitlisted or rejected".

I am the poster below and I interviewed on Thursday 3/23

I was rejected from their program because my math score was one point below their cut off and the dept. chair confirmed that was the reason my application wasn't considered. I think the change in the wording from mininum to suggested is really to cover themselves because they aren't supposed to use GRE scores to weed out applicants. I hate to see other applicants be misled because it was done to me. Good luck to those of you applying. However, from their website- There are no additional requirements for admission, other than those imposed by the College of Education. However, applicants with GPAs of less than 3.2, for the last 60 hours of the undergraduate degree, and GRE scores under 145 in verbal, 145 in quantitative, and 3.5 in analytical writing are unlikely to be admitted to the program.

Also have not heard back from UTD! Application was submitted early January. Very anxious, but it's good to know I'm not the only one still waiting/wondering!

For applicants waiting to hear from FAU: if your stats didn't meet their mininum requirements, they won't look at your application. If you haven't heard by now, you're either waitlisted or rejected. Their decisions are purely based on numbers.

Anyone going to NYMC that is living on campus. In need of roommates

2 and 1/2 years of research experience, managed a lab, research presented at ASHA, great LORs, and a field project completed in Aphasia. poor GRE scores!!!

Notified through email 3/22. Very excited, probably going!

To the person below. Mine says, "Referred to department" as well. I do not know what it means, but I have not heard from the school yet either!
