To the 'accepted' guy flexing at the guy with the 'Turing' comment - I don't think he says anything wrong. I have 4 publications - all 1st authored (2 in 1st tier conferences), 3 research jobs, 2 research internships, a research startup - all in the field I've applied to and I still didn't get in (though I got in someplace better). There has been a proven bias towards applicants with the so-called 'networking' advantage, undergrad alumni and the likes, etc. Your research acumen is clearly below mine (and personality too given how you're trying to prove your self worth) but you still got in. That says something. | ||||

Responding to the other poster(s): I also have not heard anything. UW's site suggests that the interview dates this year are in early March, so I assume we'll hear news soon? If anyone has information on the timeline or has been invited please share it, if you're comfortable. Thanks in advance. Information on UW's social psych program seems scarce, both on the results page and in forums. | ||||

I have not heard anything from the University of Washington. While I cannot find it now, I do remember the interview date being somewhere within the application | ||||
