Had a small hope, but it's okay. I will apply for Professor there after my Phd ;)

TTPB Congratulations to both of you for getting accepted to the Linguistics PhD program! Any news about when they are going to send out the emails or how many applicants have been accepted? Thanks :)

My dream school. Did not anticipate to get the offer. Still hurts though. :(

Answering to the question below: The rejection was from the OR research center

:(

To the poster bellow: was the rejection from POI or from department? Has anyone else heard anything back?

Thank you TTPB who shared the waitlist email. I wonder if the email from Prof. AC or LK.. Can you share the info?

HeP-Th. Noting down all my rejections as community service ... If you see this from the future, maybe you will cite my work one day.

I would like to give you an update regarding your application to our graduate program. Our Committee on Graduate Admissions has placed your application (along with about fifty others) on a "Wait List" in the event an opening becomes available. I am sorry that it is not possible to predict the Committee's final action; however, in the past several years, we were only able to offer admission to a few students who were on the "Wait List". Therefore, I suggest that you continue to develop alternative plans for continuing your graduate education. Unfortunately, we are only able to admit a limited number of applicants.
