accepted to the thesis program on website

TTPB: I also received the GTAccount ID and so did many others - I don't think it means anything. Since you didn't receive a reject you are probably on an internal wait list. If enough people reject their offers, you could expect to hear something around April 15. Hope for the best. Peace.

Are all UMich ECE PhD results out? Areas: ML/AI/Vision.

Ignore Waitlist. I received the GTAccount (alphanumeric string) a couple of weeks back (Not sure if that means anything), but have not heard back from them yet. They sent out a few rejects (Lorraine/Shenzen admits on April 3), but I did not receive anything. Is anyone in a similar situation?

Apart from GradCafe are there any other websites for ECE especially?

It feels bad to be rejected. However..."WE MOVE"

CMU rejects out?

TTPB: I am the accepted person on April 1. I didn't have an interview. I contacted with grad coordinator and the coordinator told me that "Admissions is separate from funding.". Therefore, I need to find an advisor. It's quite late to find an advisor I think. Going to decline it possibly. For the post which is asking about my profile, 4 publications, and strong lors. 2+ years of work experience.

Track: ML and DS. ECE Undergrad from Tier-1 IIT. CGPA: 8.81/10. No Publications. >2.5yr work experience. Didn't see this coming as most results are out already and got no response/result from around 10 colleges; maybe they are keeping an internal waitlist. Everyone keep up the hopes! It's not all over until the result is out.

TTPB: Admitted off the waitlist. The committee said all the acceptance should be out last Friday Apr. 2nd.

TTPB, I was previously on the wailist and got the offer yesterday. Had an interview with the PI in January. Really a huge suprise to get admitted.

[Ignore WL] TTPB: I also mailed Prof. G.J in December and he wrote me back twice saying I can only be interviewed after I have been accepted by the department. My application is still "in review", Power Engineering Research, International Student.

[IGNORE WL]: TTPB: yes same here, no updates at all. I even tried in december emailing two professors ( robotics track), but none replied.

They said: Although you meet our high standards for admission, we unfortunately cannot accommodate you on the Atlanta campus due to a capacity limit. We are, however, happy to accommodate you on either one of Georgia Tech's two international campuses – Georgia Tech-Lorraine or Georgia Tech-Shenzhen."

To the people who posted acceptances on 2nd April: Could you mention if you were admitted off the waitlist and what the initials of your PI are? If you could share any info from MIT, it would be greatly appreciated.

Rejected from Atlanta, offered admission to Lorraine and Shenzen campuses. Already got better offers. A little bummed as it was my dream university.

[Ignore WL] apparently, Profs. don't take interviews. Has anyone heard from Power Engineering profs? Or any other Profs? I don't think international students have been sent admissions as of yet. If anyone has any updates kindly post here.

Rejected from Atlanta, offered admission to Lorraine and Shenzen campuses. Already accepted offer elsewhere!

Anticipated the decision. All the very best to everyone who made it!
