Was sent an email through the Graduate School to check status. Received a funding notice of TA and stipend(15k), Health insurance, Tuition, and possible fellowship for the upcoming school year. Will be visiting with the professors next week! My top choice!

To the poster who asked about my notification: I received an automated email from UNC Graduate School that said a decision had been made. I went to my application account and found a letter posted there.

The interview is an in-person recruitment event.

Let's see how this goes!

For the person who posted about UNC Religious Studies, were you notified by a POI?

A day before the acceptance the applicant portal changed to "Awaiting approval by GAO" - I called up the GAO to see if I needed to upload any more documents, but the woman said no. I think she rushed by application and approved it, since an hour after the call I got a conditional offer!

Received email to check website for status update. Was notified that a letter about funding would come within the next few weeks.

Applied to PhD program, email switching admission to MS to PhD (current BS/MS in an unrelated field)

So stoked. Amazing school. Amazing program.
