Rejected from the Department of Global Health MPH program

It looks like two people have posted about interviews already! I'm in the same boat as you, so probably not the best sign, although we have no idea what goes on behind the scenes in the admissions process, and there's always the waitlist, so i wouldn't completely discount yourself just yet!

Well, it turned out that the 3.5 minimum requirement of AW score is not true.

Come from non-STEM background. Did not really qualify their prerequisite requirements. Thought a perfect GRE quant score with 5 years of BI experience would make up for it but no.

Same question as previous poster: does UW do interviews? Should I give up hope since I haven't gotten one?

For the previous post: I am still waiting for the results too. Have had an interview with the POI in January. I can see the department has sent a wave of acceptance. I too am not sure if there will be another wave of acceptance. Hope they send some update this week.

Saucy rejection, quite odd, as was accepted by other engineering departments on the UW campus, so who knows.

No funding decisions yet. Does anybody know roughly when they'll be made?

I saw many accepts and some rejects from UW already, but I haven't heard anything yet. Nothing updated in online application neither. Does that mean I am in wait list? Does UW send email indicating applicant in waitlist? Any comments are appreciated. Thx.
