Invitation to formal interview day on February 5

Mass email sent to applicants: "Thank you for continuing to be patient with us as we make our way through your application. As noted below, we aim to provide interview offers in the first week of February; we are fully on track to meet that goal! We will update you at that time about the status of your application. We recognize that you may have already received interview offers and even interviewed at other programs. As a reminder, you do not have to make any decisions on admissions until April 15. Even though our interviews are some of the last to be held in the United States, you will have ample time to gather the information you need to make an informed decision by April 15."

Any international student heard from NU ChemE?

Rejected for MSCS at Khoury College of Computer Science. Offered admission at the NCH London campus for Software Industry program.

TTPB: Thank you for sharing!

I was invited to apply early through the Northwestern's EADP Program, unsure what a POI is but my acceptance was emailed and my decision letter was posted on the application portal.

TTPB: Where did you see the decision letter? Did you receive any email from your POI in advance?

Area: ML

TTPB: Congrats on getting the invite! What's your research area? AI, ML, Theory, etc.

750$ > 100$

Super excited! No publications, 3 years of research. 3.95 major GPA.

Rejected

Got a call from one of the PI saying I'm accepted and will get my admit in 2-3 days. Still waiting for the official admit letter. It's been 10 days and haven't heard back from Northwestern yet.

Slightly surprised at this reject.
