Candidates who received offers heard back around the first/second week of February 2020. I didn't hear anything that time so assumed I was rejected (turned out to be right)

I am writing with the unfortunate news that we will not be able to make you an offer to join PiN. We just heard from the school that we are not allowed to make any additional offers this year. I am appreciative for your patience throughout this process and am sorry I do not have positive news on this occasion. We are convinced you will have an excellent scientific career and are excited to see the things you do in your PhD. We wish you all the success in your scientific journey, and I very much hope our paths cross again in the future.

Please, please, please decline your offer today if you decided to go somewhere else. Be a hero!

I have been holding off on contacting admissions because they told me that they had no idea when they could give us an answer and plus it was a small chance anyway - has anybody heard anything?

I want to announce that I am probably going to decline the offer for M.Arch I on April 22 (They Extended the decision for me) for financial reasons. I thought that I may be able to find resources for my studies but sadly that did not happen (I am international from a poor country, and loans are not applicable for me). This a really hard decision for me as I worked hard to be able to attend, but sometimes life dictates things that are not in your control. I was hoping that financial matters do not limit my progress towards the future, but the reality of the world is about power and money. Guys, try hard to be rich. That's all I can say. I just wanted to notify some of the waitlisted students about my decision and tell you that you may be the lucky student who always dreamed about GSD, hope you, unlike me, have enough money. Wait until April 22. You may receive good news.

To the post below, When did you contact the director for the last time? When are you likely to hear results? I am waitlisted in another program at HKS.

If you decided to go to MIT, Stanford, or another school, I would be so thankful if you could decline your Harvard offer as soon as possible. Thanks everyone!

Notified on the waitlist. (2/21) Finally, got off the waitlist! (3/31) Yes, it is my dream school, so I cried. God bless the one who declined Harvard.

Accepted into both MAUD, and March II programs at GSD!! Rejected at Yale March II, and accepted at MIT City Planning.

Undergraduate. Several publications with 3 first/corresponding-author papers in Physical Review Journals. Recommended by "nobody"s in their eyes. And thus, rejected.

Fulbright scholar so no clue about funding from HKS.
