Applied for PhD/MS, and got rejection mail finally. What a surprise, got admitted to a SCS program and rejected by ECE. I have BS/MS degree in EE. Interesting!

Applied to MEng program. Still haven't got any update on my application. Can anyone tell me how much more should I wait, please?

I am waiting for the admission. The admission result do not come out though its middle of may. someone told me to convince a professor, i tried my level best but the professor didnt reply. now I am confused whether alberta provides central admission or taking through potential supervisor. I am very much worried, still hopping to get admission as i tried to keep my proflle decent (1yr job exp, 1 publication, cgpa 3.65, two voluntary certificates)

Is there any chance for MASc acceptance to be sent? I just declined my MEng offer, but they say if no professor picks me by mid-June, we will be notified rejection. Should I contact professors now? They say most of the professors have picked their students already.

Called UCI. They told me the indecision is not specific to me and there are lots of students confused with the situation. Also, they told that the decisions will be made by the end of May. Ridiculous situation, but can't do much I guess. Best of luck to everyone.

Got accepted by its Thailand-Pittsburg program too. The tuition for this two-year program will be around 100,000 US Dollars. I don't think it is quite worth the money. Leaning towards UCSD CSE more right now. The tuition for that program will be from 300,000 to 400,000. But CMU is far more famous than UCSD. Need advice!

I applied to their regular on campus MS program, but i have been offered admission to their Dual degree program with the CMU-Thailand collaboration degree. Does anyone know if this program is worth the investment? Could use some advice.

Today is the last day an international student can technically be accepted. Since I have not heard back, I assume it's a rejection. It's getting pretty late in the season.

I'm the poster below that commented about an update for "Awaiting financial documents". I'm having some trouble deciphering both the grammar and the meaning of the reply that I received. Overlooking the grammatical mistakes and lack of structure in their sentences, it sounds like no decision has yet been made and things will get updated once that happens. Back to not keeping any hopes it is. :D

Anyone still waiting for UofT ECE Meng? I submitted all the required docs in early January. It is May and there is no Accept/Rej letter. Should i move on or wait for this.

Asked if I am interested in GTA, however, rejected after a long wait.

There was no activity on the status page, with only a checklist marking all documents as received. Today I saw that the page has been updated with a new item in the checklist for "awaiting Financial Document". No notification/letter of admission of any kind. I sent them an email. I have no other admits and had lost all hope. Now I'm a little hopeful and extremely confused.
