was originally waitlisted in february, and got accepted today.

I had contacted two prof, both offered RA now what? Interesting.A lot of strong candidates.Yeah ..

Oh my gosh! Oh-so excited/hopeful/nervous. Small waitlist, unranked. Fingers crossed and congrats to those who got in!

SECOND rejection. email today. This time with awkward spacing issues and terrible spelling. Classy Vanderbilt, real classy. Incase I thought that the first informal rejection or the formal one I received after that were in error, they made sure to put my fears to rest and reject me again this morning.

A second rejection e-mail. This time they didn't even bother to run it through Spell Check. Feeling better about that rejection already, honestly!

A second "no"--figuring I wasn't bright enough to grasp the concept of their first rejection letter?

The second email I got rejecting me. \"A school so nice, they rejected me twice!\" Thanks, Vanderbilt!

"Wereceived a significant number of graduate applications this year; thus, we are faced with the unpleasant task of turning down a number of well-qualified applicants. Wewish you well in your endeavors. Again, thank you for your interest in Vanderbilt University.Sincerely," (sic)

Accepted with University Graduate Fellowship, great funding opportunity

I called today to check on when I would hear and I found out that I got in.

Sent an email inquiry; got a response with a pasted message from the Graduate School dean.

Notified via email and post.

Form letter from grad school

Also received 2 emails: one blank, one rejection.
