I didn't get any notification, just checked the website and this was the message: Congratulations! You have been offered admission to graduate study at Florida State University. Your admission is good only for the term specified above. I have an offer from a better school, so I'm not planning on attending FSU.

I just asked to be taken off the wait list at USF, hope this helps someone out!

I received an email about funding from the department coordinator and wasn't awarded funding. Will be denying my admissions. Hope this helps someone on the waitlist.

Wait listed and called for a ranking. They said there are 100 people on the wait list pool. They do not rank the list. Won't hear back until the end of April. Those accepted congrats! Mind sharing your stats?

I'm happy, I did not think I had a chance. I have a stellar involvement, employment, experience, and personal statement, but my GRE scores were not great. Overall GPA 3.74, upper division GPA 3.92, I am also in the undergrad program at UF. 2 waitlistings, 1 denial, and waiting to hear from 1 more school. If you are declining please do so ASAP, and congrats if you were accepted!

To the post below about UF funding- from my understanding they have little to no funding unless you're out of state(which I still hear is hard to get). You have the opportunity to find ga positions in other departments like teach public speaking, but it is difficult to find your first year.

Does anyone know if funding is given? To those on the waitlisted, I am 99% sure I will be declining my offer.
