I, too, did not receive any notification (while I heard that PhD open house took place last Wednesday). I emailed one of the main administration staff members last Friday afternoon, and no answer so far (probably getting one this Monday). While I visited other schools for PhD open house event this week, my heart and mind were in UCLA. Struggling to choose between safe schools is real, but if UCLA chooses me, I would take it in a heartbeat. | ||||

I didn’t ask specifically about rejections. But what they said was that definite admission/rejection decisions should be out by next Monday. So maybe we will see a mass rejection then unless they try to keep a big waitlist? | ||||
