I got RA

The acceptance and offer letter have been mailed today.

NO mention of aid as of yet.

Very clinical rejection letter from Lan S. Chang. Said there were 25 spaces for 835 applicants.

20 accepted out of 700. But come on this was my safety... anyways got into UTAustin...so boohoo :D

admission + stipend + possible fee waiver

noticed by email from department, "the department is recommending admission", waiting for formal letter from graduate admission office, no financial aid at this time

They said a letter is in the mail as well. Lucky Kid TM

I am now going to burn all Hawkeye paraphernalia collected during my undergraduate degree.

"We will only be able to enroll about 20 students from over 700 applicants". their e-mail notification Why do they not state their quota before the apllication ?

The seventh:(

horrible letter, abrupt, nonchalent, ignorant and tedious! can they write something longer, sweeter or softer to comfort my depression?!?!

0-5. 1 to go. Presentation of letter was terribly unprofessional.

Finally.

Very short, not nice, crumpled letter with pen and sharpie marks on the outside of the envelope. However, it doesn't matter, because it was by far my last choice. Got into 5 schools--three of which I am thrilled about. I can't complain.
