Midnight email to check portal. GPA is MA, focus is 20th and 21st century American. 1a/1r/1w/7p.

I was looking for 19th century British literature with a focus on Austen and cognitive literary studies. My GPA is from my masters. Although I am not too surprised, I am sad as I thought I was a good fit. Oh well, onto the next! Good luck everyone!

Graduated from UCB with a 4.0 in 2019. Congrats to the Admits; wishing you all the best. To my fellow Rejects: Don't give up! Try again next year, and keep trying for as long as it takes. Keep your dreams alive! Trust me; you're worth the effort.

Has anyone heard back from Irvine? Really my last option

Please if you don't intend to take the offer let them know. I might have a chance.

Didn't expect this one, but I'm over the moon!

Email from DGS. Formal letter coming soon.

Official admission and financial award documents to arrive "in the next week or two". 1a/1r/7p.

MA GPA 4.0. Was technically accepted on Friday but somehow missed the call and didn't see the voicemail notification. DGS called again yesterday morning and received email at about the same time. Wonderful offer with assistantship and additional recruitment funding. Seriously overwhelmed at the idea of making a decision. Was convinced this wouldn't be my cycle, and this is my third funded acceptance!

Email to check portal. 1a/1r/3p.

Attended the (amazing!) recruitment events 2/10-11, interviewed on the 11th w 18th-19c British faculty. Very excited! 2a/1r/1p

MA GPA is 4.0. Email to check portal at 1 am! Love the energy

Had an interview with faculty in my area (C20 British and Irish) on 8th Feb, followed by two days of online recruitment events. Received an email from the DGS today. I am beyond thrilled as this is my top choice! 1a/1r/8p

Email to check portal. Definitely a bummer.
