According to MFA Draft, it sounds like there are several that have been waitlisted. Crossing my fingers that someone falls off the list or I get a better offer.

"Near the top of the waitlist" email from Amy Quan Barry!

Called Iowa. Was told not finished notifying acceptances. Not sure if true as it might be the standard answer they're instructed to give, but it gave a little hope.

Finally, some movement.

Kind form email from AQB

nonfiction applicant

Someone posted this on Draft on 2/12: Also, grapevine info (and by that, I mean adcomm personnel) tells me FICTION calls are likely to go out in 2 weeks, so good news for fiction applicants. However, as is usual, regardless of genre, UofA acceptances roll out for quite a period, until it is actually announced that the cohort is full. So hold fast, regardless of whatever you hear out here.

I’m okay with not living in the midwest for two years

Holy shit. 1a/3w/2r/7p

Told I was high up on the wait list. Sounds like they tell several people that. We'll see 0a/2w/1r/10p
