4.0 GPA (grad) / email to check portal. Oddly enough, it's not like you ever get an email to check the portal and find GOOD news there. You know, when you look at the state of the job market and the average size of stipends in comparison with living expenses and the fact that all tenured profs seem to do is complain on Twitter about how much it sucks to get paid to do something they find intrinsically valuable even while most people in the country believe it is pointless and/or borderline criminal, etc., etc.... You would suppose that it would be at least somewhat less competitive. 0a / 0w / 8r / 11p

Email saying decision was available on portal, checked portal, "We regret..."

Got a call from the director of grad studies in the program, was very nice and gave me great info.

Saw somebody on here got accepted, went to check and it looks like I got accepted, too. I think it is legitimate, but I am hoping for an email/call soon!

No notification from department -- just happened to check the portal. Happy they let me know sooner! 2a/4r/12p

Grad GPA: 4.0 4a/5r/0w/14p In case I mess up inputting GRE scores again: 169V/166Q/5.5A

Was just informed that I am being recommended for admission. Details about funding should be coming in the next couple of days. 3a/0w/2r out of 13 apps.

This is my dream school please if you received another offer or you do not intend to go there please decline as soon as you can. Thank you and best of luck! Grad gpa 4.0

"Short waitlist" says the email. Grad GPA 4.0.

GPA is grad. Notice to check portal. Kind of expected, given the ~500 applicants for 5-6 places. Best of luck to the rest!

GPA is for postgraduate work (coursework section of my MA, still awaiting grade for MA thesis). Submitted application Dec 2, Interview Jan 24, PAO early Feb. One book review in a postgrad journal, two scholarships for postgrad work, one top of year award for coursework year of MA, A+ for every piece of assessment as a postgrad student. Unsuccessful for Gates-Cambridge, still awaiting notice on other sources of funding.

Email to check portal. Not surprising given the high number of applicants for the few spots they had.

Been expecting this for two weeks now - ever since I heard the news about app #s vs cohort size. Got an email to check my portal for an update.
