Better than my last two rejections I guess

Will hear back again after April 15... :/

4.0 in graduate work. Called, learned the result over the phone.

Letter dated 2/17. No funding info.

Called Sharon to check about decisions and was told that if I hadn't already been contacted it meant that I was rejected. For those of you still waiting to hear, all acceptances and wait lists have already been notified.

Teaching assistantship, tuition waiver, stipend, health care -- very happy!

Official letter after getting unofficial information from my POI and the director of EEB program. Rejected because my POI is unable to take new students. Future applicants should be sure to make contact with a POI who is taking new students for the upcoming year; the "encouraged" rotations are not really an option unless there is already a lab that will ultimately take you.

Dear IU, the phrase "the selection process has determined not to grant you admission" is a craven cop-out. Also, you wrote the sentence "We thank you for your interest in our department and wish you success in finding an appropriate degree program" twice in a row. Thanks for proofreading. Thanks for proofreading.
