Very lame rejection "statement"...not even a letter. Don't understand why they force us to create a "friend" account just to sign in and tell us we were not admitted? At any rate best to those who got in, it is definitely a strong department, albeit a little too wishy-washy pseudo marxist-cum rich professor thing going on, but hey seems to be the trend lately. To all who didn't get in: don't give up on academics, understanding, and truth. Standards are most definitely declining everywhere and often these decisions are politically motivated coming from weak professors who are in fear of being sued, or accused of being racists, rather than giving genuine authentic decisions...what a sad state of affairs. Best to all who didn't get in as well, for God's sake try another uni next year!

I got an acceptance letter from the Chair of the Dept. I also got another email at the same time from the Wolverine access - which told me to check online. My acceptance was listed there as well.

Notification to check tomorrow. I'm nervous but I suspect it's probably a rejection...who knows.

I just got asked to do an interview tomorrow! For those of you have been interviewed, is there anything you could share about how your interview went? Questions they asked? Anything that took you by surprise? Thanks!

I got the same email...last year it meant rejection, but, obviously it could mean wait-list or acceptance as well. I just find it very hard to believe that it would be a congratulatory email. I'm placing my hopes that it is a wait-list announcement as it is a top program choice for me. Best of luck to all.

I just got this email from the Anthro Dept which says that I should check my Michigan account and the decision will appear there by tomorrow. Did everyone get this message? What does it mean? Rejection? Also that ine person who got an acceptance: Congrats! Really a terrific program! Could you tell us how you were notified?

POI called to let me know I was accepted. Official notice to be sent out soon. Only 2 applicants were admitted, so that they could be more funded. SO EXCITED!
