Unofficial acceptance.

TTPB: Thanks! I received the acceptance early February, before they invited people to the grad visit days. I had 3 interviews with my 3 POIs in January, but I go to school in Canada so it could be different for others who applied from the US since I've talked to a few others who are going to the visit day and haven't had a change in their status. And my acceptance was sort of informal, just an email with the POIs CC'ed from the program coordinator. It followed with an official offer of funding though a couple of days later.

Re: "To the post below: are you going to accept the capstone offer?" Yes! Was worried about funding the capstone but talked to the department and figured out a plan.

Anybody hear anything yet post interview? Anybody know how many people were interviewed?

TTPB asking about my undergrad school: I went to an average-ranked state school (top thirty). My stats were pretty average but I had multiple publications and talks and really strong recommendations. Thank you, I’m very excited to start in Seattle!

TTPB: congrats! when exactly did you receive the acceptance? did you have an interview? and did the letter ask you to check the portal? I mean is your status changed?

TPB: Did you receive an email from UW? I haven't heard anything from them yet.
