Referred to MAPSS

Awfully thrilled!!! Fully funded too.😭

To the previous poster: folks were accepted to University of Chicago in January...about a month or so ago. So today was likely just all the rejections/referrals to MAPSS. Those who interviewed and were accepted have known for awhile. I don't think more admits will come out for UofC. (Same with UCLA, btw).

Materials transferred to MAPSS. Probably going to accept a Ph.D. offer from another school. They say MAPPS has financial aid but even then I don't think it'd be enough and I don't want to do anything without funding. Also, I don't want to go through the application process for a second time.

for the posters accepted to michigan, what is the stipend amount you received for the school year? (excluding summer?)

Has anyone not heard anything at all from UChicago? Was ANYBODY accepted today????

TAship, tuition waiver, five years.

Received an email to check the portal. I thought I would at least get referred to their master's program, but no luck.

Received email to check portal, was referred to MAPSS. Will probably take it if I don't get in anywhere else, which seems likely at this point. 0a/2r/4p

0a/7r/11p, referred to MAPSS

Received email to check portal, materials transferred to MAPSS program. I already have an MA and 3 acceptances to PhD programs so if admitted, I probably won't be accepting it. Congrats to those that got in!
