I emailed the BU Bioinformatics program on January 3rd with the following response: "The admissions process is underway so applicants who will be moving on will be receiving invitations to our open house within the next couple of weeks. At that time candidates will be meeting with members of the admissions committee for interviews and other events/activities."

Emailed the admission office and got replied saying that the committee is currently reviewing applications and decisions(?) will be made within the upcoming weeks.

Did receive an interview invitation to BU Med School, though

got bachelors degree in China with low GPA and low GRE, 3.91 GPA for masters in the US, 3 years of research experience.

To the poster below, could you please share your stats? I too have unexpectedly rejected from Boston University which I presumed to be my safe school.

I thought this is my backup university. but rejected. after this, don't have hope for other universities either.
