GPA is from master's degree. Got email saying "A decision has been made." then had to click through link to application portal to see final decision. Portal showed acceptance and letter with the funding offer.

Received a phone call from the DGS, followed by the offer e-mail!

Department called me and told me I'm a fool for thinking I could ever get into their prestigious program. Audible chuckling in the background. Then they hung up. Photos of hands giving the middle finger sent via sms to my phone from the department.

Good news after a lovely interview weekend! Nominated for Centennial Scholarship!

Form rejection

Very kind call from DGS and an email immediately afterward -- exciting news, good luck to everyone!

(GPA from MA) Phone call from POI. I think I'm shock. Really thought this one was a long shot - over the moon!

Email to check website portal. The UC Berkeley campus has a strict enrollment ceiling, and we are thus very limited in the number of new students we may admit each year. The admissions committee has the difficult task of selecting students with the strongest overall records from a large pool of well-qualified applicants. Unfortunately, this may result in not being able to accept many applicants who are capable of excellent academic work.

Accepted via email w/ teaching assistantship, nominated for Graduate Council Fellowship.

Very kind call from DGS. Impressed by the program and awaiting other offers. Congrats to everyone!

Offered assistantship and a monthly stipend (around $14k).

GPA from MA. Received an email from PoI this morning requesting a short Skype interview on Thursday.
