Anyone know when to expect anything/have already heard?

your application is on high hold and has not been rejected

Got an email saying that I am on the waitlist, since they have a lot of applications

Guys, is it also written in your waitlist email? "To be clear, your application is on high hold and has not been rejected. In the event we that have available student slots in our class after our initial interview and acceptance process, we may contact you to set up an interview."

Seems to be many waitlisted students this year. Does anybody know if it is possible to get off the list?

Interview with a POI via skype.

open house is scheduled at Feb 20

Got an invite to their open house on Feb 20, which will include interviews, tours, and other activities.

We have received an exceptionally large number of outstanding applications this year and as such are forced to make the hard decision of who to invite for an on-site interview. We have now made our selection for our first round of interviews. Unfortunately, your application was not chosen for an interview. However, we are keeping your application active. This indicates that your candidacy is still of interest to us and we are keeping it on hold for the time being.
