Y'all, let me tell you a story. Last week, I got rejected from Syracuse and Cornell. I thought I wasn't getting in anywhere. My life was literally over. Instead of going to class Tuesday, I lied in bed watching Gilmore Girls, occasionally pausing it to cry. I couldn't eat. I couldn't sleep. I momentarily wrecked my life because I let rejections and notifications on this website get to me. Then today I got the call I've been imagining since last fall, so...let this be a cautionary tale. Don't let rejections get you down, and more important, don't let this website ruin your life...because it absolutely can. | ||||
