Expected, relatively little research experience

Has anyone in theoretical chem not received any result from the university? I only got an email asking if I can let my application be considered for an online master program in software engineering, maybe means I was not selected:(

3.5 GPA, No GRE, incredible letters of recommendation, 2 years of research

I got a Zoom call from a PI of interest and told me that I would positively hear from MIT. Got the congratulating email on the same day. This is for the Physical Chemistry (experimental) division. Credentials: Converted GPA: 3.88/4.00, one first author international journal paper, three research projects, three strong LORs. Best of Luck!

Will probably not accept—got some better offers with a better fit for me personally. 3.9 GPA, 1.5 years research, no pubs, student athlete, 3 strong LORs, no GRE.
