accepted off waitlist!! thrilled and surprised since they just emailed us tuesday to confirm if we wanted to remain on the waitlist

Has anyone on the waitlist heard anything yet? Or have any idea when people will start to be taken off the list?

Why did it took them so long? I had already accepted other offers anyway...

I found out today. First I called. They told me to check Web site by end of day, but that I'd get an email first. No email yet...I just checked Web site. I will not wait on waitlist.

Snoots. That's exactly what I have and did, plus the reason why I got accepted to better programs! Not a word of apology for making me wait so long

I called them -- they said that the rest of us still waiting should have their answers before the end of the week! I didn't asked them to tell me whether I was accepted or not, if they had been so kind as to do that in the first place, they would have done it without me asking...

Still nothing! I don't even know if im on waiting list!! Is it ok to phone them?the suspense is unbearable... First american university i've ever applied to! thks for your answers
