To the person who described the interview and was rejected, who was the POI?

Anyone else still without any result for ML through the College of Computing?

I applied to school of computer science and my decision came from school of interactive computing. Is there anyone with same situation.

Oh well. They should've done it earlier.

Emailed Kyla Reese and received a notification 15 minutes later that my decision was made. Just glad it isn't up in the air anymore.

Another week without any news, does anyone have any updates?

To the OP below, my application is still under review, it's frustrating because most schools have already given admission decisions.Although UoA says the admission was on a rolling basis, I still don't understand how the process works. If it is on a rolling basis then the decisions should be out in a couple of weeks at most. Please can you share your stats (cgpa, experience, publications) ? What department did you send your application to? Did you contact any professors prior to applying?

To the OP below, I too have been waiting for a response. It's been 5 months since I've applied (still pre-screening) and whenever I ask them about any update, they just say that It's under review and that I keep checking my portal for further updates. :/ I don't think I'll get through, even march has ended but I haven't seen anyone (here) getting an admit for this course as yet so I don't know what to so. So irritated and helpless.

Please has anyone heard back from the Mathematical and statistical science department as regards to admission into the Statistical machine learning program?

I still have no idea what's going on. Was told should have expected a decision by the end of the week a few weeks ago. I contacted the professor that I was in touch with before applying, and he is out of office. Status checking just says "To Dept. for Review". I got my final offer from GTRI though, so I will at least be working there as a Research Scientist...

To the American poster who contacted Kyla Reese multiple times. Do you have any updates from her, she isn't replying to my email. Also, is it possible for you to call up the CoC main phone line and ask for more reliable information?

So does anyone have any news on when the results for the Machine Learning PhD (College of Computing) are coming out?

Received interview notification today. According to email they are processing the interview schedule. So keep patient guys :)

I applied in mid-Jan and haven't heard back. Is there any hope left?
