A program that is notorious for not accepting their undergrads (me) to the Writers Workshop. Sent me a letter by postal service dated March 6th, the online admissions profile still says in progress today (3/13).

Interview request on Jan. 29. Interviewed on Feb 1. Got confirmation of waitlist today.

Letter arrived, postmarked March 6. Got the note about manuscript being well-received/encouraging me to apply again. Not like I actually thought I would get in but still... ow. This process is brutal. 0a/1w/4r/2p

3a/1w/4r/2p Got the note about liking my manuscript etc etc. Rejected from my top school, accepted into my 2nd, waitlisted at my 3rd, so there's lots of bright sides!

0a/1w/6r/6p, was accepting this so not bummed

Signed letter arrived today, postmarked March 6th. "We want you to know that your manuscript was well-received by our readers, some of whom liked it very much. You will likely have other options this year, but if you don't land at another program, we hope you'll apply again." Not sure how many people they tell that, but I'll take the opportunity to pretend I'm special! 0a/4w/11r/3p
