3.1 CUM GPA but 3.9 for fourth year. Applied very close to the deadline (May 13th and deadline was May 15th)

Canadian applicant + competed undergrad at uoft (social sciences). GPA = cGPA. Final year gpa was 3.6. WL -> A notification on June 11. Applied for ARM but will be switching into CIPS. Experience: two years working in a library. heavy involvement in student life programming (got two awards). four publications in design research and another six in compliance research. Was literally a saved-by-the-bell moment (notified a couple of days before grad), and I honestly don't think I would've gotten in without my final year gpa. CGPA 3.2, last year GPA 3.7, no undergrad research experience.

Was waitlisted on 4.1, checked in with the admission and got the result on 6.4. Had not gotten the official letter yet. Final year gpa around 3.5. UXD / LIS not sure which one.

U of T Bachelor of Kinesiology graduate 2025. Grades got a little worse every year alongside a poor performance in research. Managed to graduate in 3 years.

Had to reach out by email and phone several times to eventually find out my application was waitlisted. I should hear back in late June to early July.

Got my MEng offer of admission today! This is for UTIAS.

CGPA: 3.77; GPA in the last year of studies: 4.0 Graduated from McGill university with a bachelor in psychology and anthropology in 2024. Quebec applicant; Also rejected from U of Ottawa and McMaster. Good luck everyone!
