Email Dr. Kimbarow I find this school to be very unprofessional. Same with Chapman.university. They do not even have the decency of letting you know if you are rejected. I had to contact him myself just to receive a very short three sentences stating I was rejected. Plus I only got his email because I contacted a student who goes there. Still haven't heard from SJSU. But they did post this on their website: "All invitations to the Fall 2015 SJSU Communicative Disorders & Sciences Graduate Program have been sent to accepted applicants. All other decisions will be notified by the end of the week." aka...I got rejected.

Still have not heard a peep --- I know people have posted acceptances and that I am probably going to receive a rejection, but I would still like to be notified. I called on Monday and was told that all notifications would be sent out by the middle of the day on 4/15 (yesterday) at the latest. Feeling very frustrated at this lack of professionalism.

I have sent them two emails and left a voice mail. No status change online, no letter, no email. Still nothing about my application to EM program, and today is the 15th. I wonder why...

The rejection letter says "Your application will be reviewed by the Software Engineering and Computer Engineering departments for a second consideration."

Was sent an email Saturday evening that I had been accepted off the waitlist! Thank you so much everyone who was accepted and responded promptly, at least one of you opened up a spot for me and made it possible for me to go to graduate school this year :)

Besides English, I speak Cantonese, Mandarin, and Japanese. I have also worked abroad. I think my international and multilingual experience helped me a lot.

Called last week, didn't hear my phone. Called back, phone tag ensued. Director sent email and set a time to talk on the phone.

Director sent an email and said he's hoping to talk with me on the phone tomorrow. Official notice from the Graduate school next week.

2 waitlists :/ grateful they aren't rejections, hoping for better news in the weeks to come. Here's to the friend zone, grad school style....
