I emailed my POI asking if I was still be considered and he emailed back asking for a Skype interview for the following week.

Yes!!! TA + summer RA #aloha

Likely not accepting ... this is my fallback college if I don't get in to a good college. Have also applied to Florida, Ohio, and Washington. Has anyone heard from These yet.

not accepting ... going to better program at Colorado

Got accepted, calling soon to figure out funding logistics

No Financial Information yet

Haven't gotten an official letter yet with all the details, but I received an acceptance email from Professor Christopher Bae Undergrad GPA 3.5 Masters GPA 4.0 GRE 156/158 Really good writer, but unpublished

Applied to PhD as well but was accepted to MA (without funding) so it's a no from me

Applied to PhD but was accepted for MA.

I applied to the PhD program and received an email from the department head stating that my interests were in line with theirs but I didn't have graduate experience so they would only accept me to the MA (without funding) and a potential to continue to the PhD later on. Irritating that they say you don't need graduate experience but then say that.

After a recent visit I know this place is not form me.

Turning these down ... heard to may negative comments about the school.

Aloha and good luck to everyone!!!

I'm freaking out!! I didn't think I was good enough for grad school. I got an email from the graduate chair who is also my POI. No word on funding but I applied to a fellowship at the East-West Center which I will hear back by April 1. Official letter will be mailed within the next few weeks.

Accepted with no funding first semester and "if you impress the faculty" partial funding moving forward. This is a conundrum because I am extremely attracted to their program, but not willing to roll the dice. I never got an interview so I figured I didn't get accepted. I have also been offered admission elsewhere, granted a lesser known school, with full funding for 6 years, masters and PhD.
