Don't apply here unless you're super interested... not worth the amount of work required for this application (extensive TA app) and the time it took just to figure out their faulty application portal! 0a/1w/5r/6p

only two funded spots for poetry this year. 4a/2w/2r

If you got in and don't plan on going, please let them know as soon as possible!! You would make a young poet very happy :)

Accepted, on a funding waitlist.

VERY excited! Louisiana is my second choice so this is a huge relief to receive! I was sent an acceptance email prompting me to check my application portal. The admission letter says I have been "provisionally" accepted due to my needing to send them official transcripts (due to them by August). Hopefully more good news to come for all of us! 1a/1w/1r/4p

Received a call! SOO thrilled this is my top choice (outside of Iowa which I know we're all waiting for.. so I guess we'll see.....) 2a/3w/2r/2p

Got an email to check the portal. (1a/1w/3r/5p)

1a/3w/3r/2p. this is my top choice!! v excited to be waitlisted!

I don't think I would've been able to start the program in Summer 2023 instead of Fall 2023, so this worked out for the best. (1a/2w/3r/5p)

Baruch Hashem! The program director, Roy, emailed me with the news before the official acceptance. They are my first choice, so chances are I'll be going here. This is my second time applying for an MFA. In my first application cycle for Fall 2021, I was rejected from all eight schools I applied to, so this is straight fire. (1a/2w/2r/6p)
