Rejected after interview. Feels like shit because the professor said some promising things during the interview. What a waste of time and energy.

I do not know how everything ends up to this. Finishing 2 Undergrad degrees in May 2023. BA in Comp Sci and BS in Systems Bio. Took 140+ credit hour class and get straight A. 3.5 years of undergrad research + one summer unofficial REU. Applied for 20 Ph.D. in BE/BME (NeuroEng), got 10+ rejections, and 6 interviews, NO OFFER until now.

Offered to transfer to Master Program. Bye!

Randomly checked my portal and the update was there, pretty bummed but was expected after no interview invite.
