Received email from department secretary: "Thank you for your interest in the University of Florida Physics department. The department has recently accepted you for Fall 2016 and we look for to seeing you in the fall, however, if you have decided to attend another graduate school, please take a moment and let us know. Otherwise, final decision is requested by April 15." Not sure if this is the official email or not. I'm guessing not? Am planning on accepting. Has anyone else received this email?

I mailed Kristina regarding info abt financial aid but got the reply that no funding is available this time. Sad.. :(

I haven't received any updates since the application was submitted, worried about my GRE score. Have any one got the admission in Electrical Engineering Dept.

They have sent the admit letter on 31st Mar but no word about the source of funding yet. The last date to accept is 15April. Is there anyone out there with the same situation as mine? Do they give funding after we confirm on the acceptance? If so,

Off the waitlist - Overjoyed. Accepted immediately. There is hope after a long waitlist period. Make sure to fight for the schools that are your dream!

To the posters below, I was the person accepted off the wait list on Wednesday. I emailed Dr. Holmes on Monday checking on my status with no response until Wednesday when I received my acceptance letter! To my USF friends: I have accepted at UF, and declined my spot at USF. I hope that helps someone out. :) Good luck to everyone on the wait list at both schools!

To the UF poster below: I know someone posted they were accepted off of the waitlist on Wednesday. I am also waitlisted and e-mailed Dr. Holmes when I got the e-mail to see if there was a ranking system and there is not. She said that she will try her hardest to update us in the upcoming weeks and she reassured me that last year they accepted a large percentage off the waitlist. So fingers crossed!!!
