offered TAship 4000/180hrs

The letter was sent on March 22nd.

Anyone heard from them???

I emailed the department, they told me I was out.

Apparently there were "too many qualified applicants" but I don't know if that means I was one of them...

I'm a current MA student at McGill - regardless of what they might say on their website, there is NO funding available whatsoever for master's students. You may be able to get a TAship, which if you stay at FRS will run about $2500/sem and if you go to another department (recommended) will be about $3500/sem. McGill really, really does not care about their students' financial ability to continue with their studies - not doctoral students, and certainly not MA students. Be aware.

Waiting for funding information.

rated "superior," but no one to supervise (guess proposed advisor's not taking students this year-?)

In response to Q below: funding of $18000 Cdn/yr for 4 yrs in the form of TAship & RAship.

Still waiting for York, Concordia and Carleton. Anyone hear from them?

Has anyone heard of the notification timetable for either of these?

I heard back from McGill on 7 March. Decisions were made earlier this week and are being mailed. Funding offers to come in a few weeks. Not sure about UofT, but I would expect a similar timeline.

Refused. Time to set the school on fire.
