Notified by PI of interest

To the post below: The mail is from the Doctoral Programs office informing about shortlisting. No interaction with the faculty yet - but should be scheduled in a couple of weeks.

To the post below, could I ask that who sent out such invitations? Your POI or the admissions chair? And when will you do this interview?

To the post below, thanks so much for your reply. So, what is the invitation you received today for? Informal one?

They definitely don't like MD. I also thought I could at least get an interview.

To the post below: it seems like there is one informal interview and a committee interview. Not sure if my POIs will be in the committee interview. Hope this helps!

To the post below, may I know who will interview you? your POI?

Well, at least I tried. Congrats to all that get interview invitations.

Formal interview request

Received an email a bit after seeing everybody else's stuff in here.

Submitted application

To the poster who was deferred to March. Was this after an interview? If so, when was your interview?

Received this earlier today. Interview with professors in my stated areas of interest. Does anyone know what the admissions likelihood is conditional on interviewing?

Really sad! I thought I was a strong candidate for this program. Congrats to those who made for interviews
